Geesh....

  Ok, this is terrible! I've been meaning to update...but haven't. So sorry! Not too much has really happened! I've been working at the daycare a lot more since April has had her baby. I'm opening and making breakfast and lunch for the whole crew! That could get up to feeding lunch to about 20 people!! Whew! I'll be glad when it's done! I've been happy to step into this role and help, but boy...I'm tired!

Since last time we've gone to Rex's 15 month check up! He's healthy and happy and normal! Here is hacking the computers and playing with the bed.

Soon after that We went to visit Shane and Courtney with Hannah and Amanda. Here are the cousins together. Rex is kissing Hannah hafter smacking her across the head. Oh the fun we'll be having!

Colt's season has started!!! We've made it to one game, we got the pre-season opener against the Vikings. We didn't stick around past half time, it was a rough game and we were tired! So, we left. But here we are!

We've also taken Rex to our local splash park. It's so fun to take him! He didn't like it when I used to take him during church play group, but now that he can walk and run and play, he LOVES it!  

Lastly, we've been back to the zoo! I LOVE our membership! It was a cooler day so we only spent an hour there, but it was worth it and fun! Rex loves looking and pointing. He's such fun!!

Where did July go???

Ok, seriously...are we in August??? I have so much to write about, and yet nothing at all to say! I've had some fun moments, but also a lot of just nothingness. I'm working 3 days a week at my friends daycare. I love it, but wow...working three days really limits my free time! I'm used to working 2 days for a few hours...now it's three from 8-5! Whew!! Thankfully I get to take my son with me so it's like still being a stay at home mom only I'm getting paid for it.

We went on vacation in July! Those of you who are my facebook friends have seen our Lakeside pics! It was SO MUCH FUN!!! Of course my parents LOVED spending time with Rex, us too I guess, but mostly Rex. We went to church on the dock on Sunday and took pics out on the dock afterwards.

Rex had his first experience in sand and the lake, both of which were a little overwhelming at first, but he got used to it!

Mom and I took Rex to the park a couple times and Mom and Dad took him a few more!

Jeremy got his shuffleboard on throughout the week!

We of course had Lakeside doughnuts EVERYDAY and Rex LOVED them! Yes, I got him powdered sugar! It was so cute I didn't care that it was messy!

 We also celebrated my parents THIRTIETH wedding anniversary! Jeremy grilled yummy steaks and the sides were easy microwavable sides!

 Of course we went to Marblehead and Put In Bay.

We celebrated our 5 year engagement anniversary in the spot where it all happened on the day it all happened!

It was great!

We loved going and going and we also loved just hanging out in our apartment. We are so thankful for all my parents did for us that week!

After that it was back to work for all! Nothing super exciting happened. Rex continues to get better at little tasks from walking to running to getting the fork into the food and up to the mouth! We've been having great times with our youth group! We took Rex and some friends to the zoo and it was SO fun. Rex is really starting to take notice of things!!

The coolest thing though happened this last weekend with the birth of our little cousin Bradley Shane Kyle!!! I was honored to be a guest in the delivery room! Courtney checked in at the hospital at 5:30 already 8cm dilated and water broke. She gave birth (after 3 hrs on and off of pushing and a vacuum and finally forceps) at 1:59pm to an 8 pound baby boy!! Whew! It was a long day, though now looking back I guess it really wasn't that long, we were just all SO tired from being up for so long! I went to bed at 9 last night!! Baby and Mommy at doing great!! I am SO proud of her!!

So, that's it from our end of the world! I hope you are all doing well and haven't given up on us yet!

Ok, it's been awhile, but I have an excuse!!

Last week Jeremy and I along with our youth pastor and his wife took 14 teens to Indianapolis to minister there. It was a great time. We were working with an organization called Shepherd Community. We worked at their newest site located at Brookside Community Church. Because of privacy issues I'm not able to post pictures of the kids we worked with. I can show you me and Jeremy! Like you don't get that enough! We had a few more...but we'll just stick with this one. If you're FB friends with me you can see more pics there!

Since then I've been back to working at the daycare. I usually work Wednesday through Friday, but this week I did Monday through Wednesday. This Friday we leave at 4 to head to OHIO!! My friend Alex is getting married so we're headed to her wedding Friday night and then spending time with my parents Saturday and Sunday and coming back Sunday night. It's always a short trip, but well worth it.

Well, I need to get to a house I still clean! I'll catch you all later!

Happy 4 Year Anniversary Jeremy!! Four years ago today we said "I Do" infront of family, friends, and our Savior. It has been a great 4 years.

We've been through a lot, with a lot more to go through! We truly feel blessed with all that God has given us.

The two have now become three. Last year we had Rex but he was so small we didn't think much of it! This year we do think of how he fits into our celebration!

Here's to the next 100 years we'll be together! I love you honey!! Thank you for being a great husband and a great father!
